NCCC Business Leadership & Marketing Meeting

We were honored to join North Country Career Center's Business Leadership & Marketing students today. More information on today's meeting from NCCC can be found below.

"Business in the 21st century is usually fast-paced, high tech and profit driven. Not today - NCCC Business Leadership & Marketing students Jacob DelaBruere, Ashton Shedd, Carolyn Ladouceur, Travis Driver, Lauren Mead and Hannah Erickson took a deep breath, a step back and united as a team to create, reflect, remember, and spread hope through the simple act of stringing natural polished beads into a rainbow array of bracelets. The letter 'N' is cradled in the middle; celebrating and honoring their NCUHS classmate Norah Jones. Norah was lost to suicide over a year ago and @Norah.Beads was created by Susan Jones, Norah's mother, to break the silence and end the stigma of mental illness, and spark conversations in suicide awareness, wellness and resiliency.
Susan arrived with boxes of beads and led conversations around kindness and compassion, and the importance of reaching out for support and help for oneself and others. Bracelets are available through the Falcon's Nest School Store and all proceeds will go to Northeast Kingdom Human Services (802.334.6744, twenty-four hours/day) " - North Country Career Center
